What's the difference between paint-ready and wallpaper-ready?
Wallpaper-ready is a broad term, and not always smooth. With me there's no difference between paint-ready and wallpaper-ready — everything is finished smooth, ready to spray, roll or wallpaper.
How long does plaster need to dry?
Roughly 1 mm per day. At hand-over I'll tell you exactly when you can paint or wallpaper.
When can I paint after plastering?
Once the plaster is fully dry (≈1 mm per day). I always advise at hand-over.
Can old plaster be repaired? And cracks?
Yes. From small cracks to fully loose old plaster — repair and neat finishing is part of the job.
Can you plaster over existing plaster?
Often yes, if the substrate allows it. I come by, take a look and give honest advice.
Do you do ceilings?
Yes. Ceilings need extra care — and they get it.
Do you do exterior plastering or façades?
No, interior only. That's what I do best.
Do you work outside Texel?
No, Texel only. From Den Burg to De Cocksdorp, De Koog, Oudeschild, Oosterend, Den Hoorn and De Waal.
Do you also do small jobs?
Yes, no problem. A single repair or one wall is welcome too.
Do you work in occupied homes?
Yes, that's fine. We plan it so you're disturbed as little as possible.
Does the room need to be empty?
Preferably yes — empty is fastest and cleanest. Floor clear, sockets removed and radiators off where applicable.
Do you advise on colour or finish?
Yes, always. I'm glad to think along and explain the next steps at hand-over.
Do you take a deposit?
No. You pay after hand-over and once you're happy.
Do you charge call-out fees?
No, no call-out fees.
Are you insured?
Yes, I'm insured for my work.
