Paint-ready plaster on Texel.

Would you like walls that are ready to paint or spray after drying? I finish new and existing interior surfaces smooth and paint-ready.

What paint-ready means

Paint-ready plaster provides a smooth base for paint. I first inspect the surface, discuss the finish you want and explain the preparation required. I always hand over a neat, smooth result. That means you know what to expect before painting or spray painting begins.

When do you need it?

This finish suits living rooms, bedrooms, halls and other interior spaces where smooth walls are wanted. Ceilings can be included too. For a new build, renovation or existing home, I visit first to judge the surface and the preparation it needs.

How I work

I protect the work area, prepare the surface carefully and align walls with a spirit level and laser. I then apply the plaster by hand or machine. I check the finish by light and eye and leave the site broom-clean. At handover I explain how long the plaster needs to dry.

A clear price upfront

Every room is different, so I visit without obligation anywhere on Texel. You then receive a fixed price upfront, with no call-out fee and no deposit. See the pricing page or request a quote straight away. I reply within 24 hours.

Frequently asked questions

When can paint-ready plaster be painted?

When it is fully dry. Allow roughly 1 mm per day; I give specific advice at handover.

Do you make ceilings paint-ready too?

Yes, both walls and ceilings can be finished smooth and paint-ready.

Can this go over existing plaster?

Often yes, if the surface is sound and suitable. I check that in advance.
